Good to know
Everything people ask
How much does a new kitchen cost in New Jersey?
It depends on the cabinet line, the size of the room and what's happening with counters, tile and appliances. In our showrooms a stocked Forevermark or Fabuwood Signature kitchen, a semi-custom Shiloh kitchen and a custom inset kitchen are very different numbers. Our pricing guide explains the three levels; the fastest way to know is to bring measurements and let a designer price it line by line while you're here — the 3D design and estimate are free.
Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?
No. Walk in any day at Union (Route 22 East), Paramus (Route 17 North) or our new Rochelle Park showroom (Route 17 South). If you'd like a specific designer, a quieter time, or you're bringing a contractor or architect, plan a visit and we'll block the time.
Do you install, or just sell cabinets?
Both. Most homeowners have our own crew handle demolition through the last piece of trim, with the designer checking the work. Contractors and hands-on homeowners can buy cabinets, counters and tile only.
Which cabinet brands do you carry?
Fifteen lines, from stocked to fully custom: Forevermark, FGM, J&K, 21st Century, WoodConcept and Adornus Essential in stock; Fabuwood, Adornus Designer, NOMA, Kith & Eudora, St. Martin, Shiloh and Eclipse semi-custom; Great Northern, Plain & Fancy and Crystal custom. Fabuwood, Forevermark, Shiloh and Eclipse are on display in full kitchens, with door and finish samples for the rest. See kitchen cabinets for every line and what each is good at.
Where do you deliver and install?
Everywhere in New Jersey — all 21 counties, from Bergen and Sussex to Cape May — plus Rockland County, NY. Most of our work is within an hour of a showroom; see our service areas for your town, the nearest showroom and the drive time.
What is the difference between framed and frameless cabinets?
Framed cabinets (Fabuwood Allure, Forevermark, Shiloh) have a solid-wood face frame around the box opening — the traditional American build, with overlay or inset doors. Frameless or full-access cabinets (Fabuwood Illume and Ovela, Eclipse) have no frame, so drawers and openings are up to 10% wider and the look is cleaner and more European. We carry both; your designer will show you the difference in the displays.
Stock, semi-custom or custom — which do I need?
Stock lines (Forevermark, Fabuwood Signature colors) give you set sizes and a short color list, delivered in days to weeks, at the lowest price. Semi-custom (Fabuwood, Shiloh, Eclipse) adds dozens of door styles, hundreds of finishes and modifications in 3" increments, in four to eight weeks. Custom and inset work is drawn piece by piece for the room. Most New Jersey kitchens land in semi-custom.
What's included in a My House Kitchen estimate?
Cabinets, countertops, tile, hardware and installation, line by line, after a free 3D design. Appliances and plumbing fixtures are itemized separately so you can see each number. There are no design fees.
How long does a kitchen take?
Stock lines are usually at your house in about two weeks; semi-custom lines take four to eight; custom depends on the build. Installation of a typical kitchen is one to three weeks. We order cabinets, counters and tile together so nothing holds up the install.
Do you carry cabinets for rentals and flips?
Yes — Forevermark and Fabuwood Signature colors ship from stock, cost the least, and still have plywood boxes and soft-close hardware. Landlords and investors get trade pricing; ask about the trade program.
Do I need an appointment?
No — walk in any day. If you want a specific designer or a quiet hour, reserve a time below and we'll have displays pulled for you.
What should I bring?
Rough wall lengths with window and door positions, phone photos of the current kitchen from each corner, screenshots of kitchens you like, and a budget range — even a loose one. With that, a designer can draw your kitchen in 3D while you're here.
Which showroom should I visit?
Union (Route 22 East) if you're in Union, Essex, Middlesex, Somerset, Morris or anywhere in Central and South Jersey. Paramus (Route 17 North) or Rochelle Park (Route 17 South), a few minutes apart, for Bergen, Passaic, Sussex and Hudson counties and Rockland County, NY. All three carry the same lines; Rochelle Park has the newest displays.
Can I bring my contractor or architect?
Please do. We price from their drawings, coordinate measurements with them and can supply cabinets, counters and tile only if they're handling the install.
How much does a new kitchen cost?
It depends on the cabinet line, the size of the room, and what's happening with counters, tile and appliances — a stock 10×10 kitchen and a custom rift-oak kitchen are very different numbers. The fastest way to know is to bring measurements to the showroom: we price it line by line while you're there, and the 3D design and estimate are free.
How long does it take?
Stock lines are usually at your house in about two weeks; semi-custom lines take four to eight; custom depends on the build. Your designer gives you a written schedule with the estimate, and we order cabinets, counters and tile together so nothing holds up the install.
Can I keep my cabinets and just replace the countertops?
Yes. We template, fabricate and install countertops on existing kitchens every week — quartz, quartzite, granite, marble, Dekton and porcelain.
