Kitchen remodeling in New Jersey — one team from the showroom to the last piece of trim

Most kitchen showrooms sell you cabinets and hand you a list of installers. We design the room in 3D while you watch, order cabinets, countertops and tile together, and send our own crew to build it — with the designer who drew it checking the work. Free design, line-by-line estimate, three showrooms, all of New Jersey.

What a My House Kitchen remodel includes

A kitchen remodel with us starts in the showroom and ends with our own installers in your house. In between, one designer owns the job: the 3D design, the field measurement, the order, the schedule and the walk-through. Here is what is in the estimate, line by line.

Design

Bring rough wall lengths and phone photos. A designer draws your kitchen in 3D in your cabinet line, colours, countertop and tile while you watch, and prices it before you leave — free, with no obligation. Larger rooms get a second visit after we field-measure.

Cabinets

Fifteen lines on the floor, from stocked Forevermark and Fabuwood Signature colours that ship in about two weeks, through semi-custom Shiloh, Eclipse, Adornus, Kith and NOMA, to custom inset from Great Northern, Plain & Fancy and Crystal. Every line is priced on the same estimate so you can compare two in the same layout.

Countertops and tile

Quartz, quartzite, granite, marble, Dekton and porcelain are grouped by price level and chosen beside the cabinet door; we template after the cabinets are set and install, usually within two weeks of templating. Backsplash and floor tile comes from five partners whose boards are in the showroom, and goes in after the counters.

Demolition, walls, plumbing and electrical

Removing a wall, moving the sink to an island, adding circuits for appliances and lighting — we price the trade work with the cabinets so there is one number, tell you whether your town needs a permit, and schedule the inspections.

Installation

Our own crew, not a subcontractor list: delivery, setting and levelling the cabinets, scribed fillers and panels, crown and light rail, hardware, appliance panels and hoods, then counters, then tile. See how we install.

How long it takes

Cabinet lead time is the long pole: about two weeks for stocked lines, four to eight for semi-custom, eight to fourteen for custom. Installation of a typical kitchen is one to three weeks. Because cabinets, counters and tile are ordered together, the kitchen is not waiting on a backsplash when the crew is ready for it.

What it costs

The cabinet line and the door construction move the number most, then the count of cabinets and tall units, modifications, the countertop level and how much the layout changes. Our New Jersey pricing guide walks through the three levels and what is in the estimate. We do not sell financing; we keep the price low by selling direct.

Why one company for all of it

When the people who sold the cabinets also install them, nobody argues about whose fault a gap is — there is one number to call, and it is ours. It is also why the kitchens on this site look the way the renderings did: the designer who drew the room is the one checking the crew's work.

Four steps

How a remodel runs

  1. I

    Visit

Walk the displays, open the drawers, compare finishes side by side. Walk in any day we are open, or book a time and the displays you asked about are pulled before you arrive.

  2. II

    Design

A designer draws your layout in 3D and prices it line by line — cabinets, counters, tile, install — the same visit. Free.

  3. III

    Measure & order

Field measurement, final drawings, and everything ordered together so nothing holds up the install.

  4. IV

    Install

Our own crew, start to finish, with your designer checking the work. One number to call.

Kitchen remodeling questions

Are you kitchen remodelers or a cabinet store?
Both, and that is the point. We are a showroom with more than fifty full kitchens on display, a design team that draws your room in 3D, and our own installation crew. Most customers have us do the whole remodel — demolition, cabinets, countertops, tile, and the plumbing and electrical coordination — with one designer responsible from the first visit to the last piece of trim. Contractors and hands-on homeowners can buy cabinets, counters and tile only.
How much does a kitchen remodel cost in New Jersey?
It depends on the cabinet line, the size of the room and how much the layout changes. Our estimate is line by line — cabinets, countertops, tile, hardware, installation — so you can see what each decision costs and change one without re-quoting the rest. The NJ pricing guide explains our three levels; the 3D design and the estimate are free.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
Stock cabinet lines are at your house in about two weeks, semi-custom in four to eight, custom in eight to fourteen. Installation of a typical kitchen takes one to three weeks. We order cabinets, counters and tile together so nothing holds up the install, and countertops are templated once the cabinets are set.
Do you handle permits, plumbing and electrical?
When the scope changes plumbing, electrical or structure — which most remodels do — your town will want a permit. We tell you with the estimate whether your scope needs one, price the wall, plumbing and electrical work with the cabinets so there is one number, and schedule the inspections. Our installers are licensed and insured.
Can you remove a wall or move the sink?
Yes. Opening a wall to the dining room, moving the sink to an island and adding circuits for appliances are the most common layout changes we price. The designer draws both versions in 3D so you can compare the cost before you decide.
Where do you remodel kitchens?
Everywhere in New Jersey, from showrooms in Union (Route 22 East), Paramus (Route 17 North) and Rochelle Park (Route 17 South), plus Rockland County and New York City. See the service areas for your town and the drive time to the nearest showroom.
Will my designer be there during installation?
Yes — the same designer who drew the kitchen checks the install, answers the crew's questions and is your one phone number from the showroom to the final walk-through.
