New-construction kitchen, three baths and a bar in Verona
A whole new-construction home in Verona: a two-tone Forevermark Petit kitchen with Petit White uppers, Petit Brown base cabinets and a matching wood hood around a white island; a primary bath with a black double vanity and a black freestanding tub; a powder room on a white-oak vanity; a walk-in pantry and a beverage bar off the living room.
About this project
The kitchen is the heart of the plan, built in Forevermark’s Petit door — a slim shaker — in two colours: Petit White on the uppers and the island, Petit Brown on the base cabinets, with a wood hood in the same brown between two floating shelves and a marble-mosaic backsplash. The island is white with a veined quartz top, a microwave drawer on the working side and three wood stools on the dining side, under a pair of white-and-brass schoolhouse pendants.
A round oak table sits between the kitchen and the sliding doors, so the room works as one open kitchen-and-dining space over a pale white-oak floor, with glass doors to the yard. The sink is an apron-front model under a brass faucet; the stainless refrigerator sits in a tall white run of cabinets.
The baths carry the same brass: the primary bath has a black double vanity with brass pulls, two brass-framed mirrors and a black freestanding tub against a zellige-look wall, and the powder room has a small white-oak vanity with a black faucet. A walk-in pantry with open shelving and drawers, and a beverage bar with two glass-door fridges and floating shelves, finish the house.
