About this kitchen
The cabinets are Fabuwood’s Luna flat-panel door in three of its finishes. The perimeter is Dove, a soft cream-white, with slim black pulls, and the Desert Oak finish — Luna’s white-oak grain — is used where it reads best: the island, the range wall and a beam that caps the cooking alcove. Inside the alcove a marble-look slab runs from counter to beam, with a niche for oils at one end, so the cooktop wall has no grout lines at all.
The island is white oak with a white quartz top and a microwave drawer; at one end the top extends into a table on slim legs, so the same piece seats people at counter height and at table height. Over it hangs a rattan linear pendant.
The sink wall is the room's signature: vertical wood slats around black-framed windows, with a sconce either side. Around the corner, the bar switches to Luna in Pistachio Green — a soft sage — with brass pulls, a black counter and an undercounter beverage fridge under its own black window. Designed by Allen at our Union showroom.
