Bathroom remodeling in New Jersey — vanity, tile and top chosen together, installed by one crew
Powder rooms to primary baths. Pick the vanity, the top, the tile and the fixtures side by side in the showroom so nothing clashes when it shows up at your house, then let the crew that installs our kitchens install the bath — with the designer checking the work.
How we remodel a bath
A bathroom is a small room where everything touches everything: the vanity width sets the mirror, the tile sets the grout and the trim, the top sets the faucet. So we choose it all in one place. Bring the wall measurement and a photo; a designer lays out the room, pulls the vanity, the tile boards and the top beside each other, and prices the whole bath — vanity, tile, shower, fixtures and installation — on one estimate.
Vanities
Thirty-eight models are on the floor: Otto Home Goods, our own line, built in our own factory with solid-wood dovetail drawers on soft-close hardware and either an integrated porcelain top or a quartz top with an undermount sink; and a curated Blossom collection of floating and freestanding European-style pieces from 16 to 102 inches. For an odd wall or to match the kitchen, we build a vanity from Fabuwood, Shiloh or Eclipse in any door and finish.
Tile and showers
Floor and wall tile, shower surrounds and niches from five tile partners — porcelain and large-format for floors, zellige and handmade looks for walls, marble and mosaic for showers — chosen on boards next to the vanity finish so the room reads as one decision, not five.
Tops, mirrors and fixtures
Integrated porcelain or quartz tops on the vanity lines; quartz, quartzite and marble cut from our slabs for custom pieces. Mirrors, medicine cabinets and lighting go on the same estimate so the electrician has one plan.
Installation
Our own crew does the demolition, the plumbing and electrical coordination, the tile, the vanity and the fixtures, and your designer checks the work. Floating vanities get the solid wall blocking they need while the wall is open.
Baths that match the kitchen
Several of the homes on this site had the bath vanities built from the kitchen's cabinet line in the same door and finish — a Timber-stained double vanity in Cranford matching the kitchen's glass uppers, a natural maple floating vanity under arched mirrors in a maple kitchen, a walnut double vanity that carries a kitchen hutch's stain upstairs. Whole-house orders — Montclair, South Orange, a Mount Arlington lake house — take the kitchen, a bar and three or four baths at once, so the finishes relate and everything arrives together.
