Framed or frameless?
Framed cabinets — Fabuwood Allure, Forevermark, Shiloh — have a solid-wood face frame and either overlay doors (the frame shows between doors) or inset doors (set flush inside it). Frameless, full-access cabinets — Fabuwood Illume and Ovela, Eclipse — skip the frame, so drawers are wider and the look is cleaner and more European. Both are in the showroom side by side; the right answer depends on the house, the budget and how much storage you need.
What makes a good box
Plywood sides, a solid-wood dovetail drawer on an undermount soft-close slide, a six-way adjustable soft-close hinge and a catalyzed or UV-cured finish. Every line we install meets that bar, from Forevermark up; the price differences come from door construction, finish options, modifications and lead time.
