Mudroom and laundry room cabinets in New Jersey — lockers, benches and utility storage
Mudroom lockers, a bench with drawers under it, uppers over the washer and dryer, a folding counter, a utility sink cabinet — all of it is built from the same kitchen cabinets and panels we sell every day, in the same finishes, at the same levels. We draw it to the wall, order it with the kitchen or on its own, and our crew installs it.
Mudroom lockers from kitchen cabinets
A locker wall is tall cabinets without doors, divided by finished panels, with a bench across the bottom and hooks and a shelf above: one 18-inch cubby per person, a bench 18 inches high and 18 to 20 inches deep with drawers or a lift lid under it, uppers or open cubbies for hats and bags. Because it is built from standard cabinet parts, it comes in every door and finish we carry — a painted shaker to match the kitchen, a stained oak for warmth, a dark colour that hides boots.
Laundry rooms that work
- Uppers over the machines, 12 inches deep, with a shelf for detergent at hand height.
- A folding counter on base cabinets or over front-loading machines, in a quartz or laminate top.
- A utility sink cabinet with a deep sink and a pull-out for the bin.
- A tall cabinet for the ironing board, the vacuum and the broom — the 12-inch-deep, 84-inch-high utility cabinet most lines offer.
- Hampers and drying rods as inserts in a tall or base cabinet.
Ordered with the kitchen
Whole-home orders — Montclair, South Orange, the Mount Arlington lake house — take the kitchen, bar, baths and utility rooms in one drawing so the finishes relate and the crew installs it all in one run. A mudroom or laundry on its own is quoted the same way: bring the wall length, the ceiling height and a photo. Stocked lines (Level I) are the usual answer for a utility room; a mudroom that is seen from the front door is often done in the kitchen's line.
