Which green, and where

Greys with green in them — Sherwin-Williams Evergreen Fog, Clary Sage, Pewter Green — are the safe ones: they behave like a warm grey in daylight and show their colour at night. The Westfield kitchen puts Evergreen Fog on a reeded island under Beige flush-inset walls, which is how most customers use it. Deep greens — Roycroft Bottle Green, Hunter Green, Forest Green, Kingston — belong on a bar, a pantry wall or an island in a bright room; the green bath in the black-and-oak house shows a deep green on a vanity.

Green by level

  • Stocked: 21st Century Kingston; J&K E3 Sage; Fabuwood Pistachio Green (a Select colour on every Allure door).
  • Semi-custom: Shiloh and Eclipse in Evergreen Fog, Pewter Green, Clary Sage and any Sherwin-Williams green; Adornus Designer in Quietude, Sea Salt, Succulent and Roycroft Bottle Green; Fabuwood Sage Green, Hunter Green, Forest Green and Mint Green (Designer colours); NOMA Evergreen Fog.
  • Custom: Great Northern Pewter Green; Plain & Fancy and Crystal matched to any sample.

Pairing green

Natural oak and walnut are the natural partners — green is a wood colour — with unlacquered brass or black hardware and a white stone with warm veining. Avoid cool blue-white quartz against a sage; it makes the green look grey. For the two-colour layouts, see the two-tone guide; for the colours we expect to keep seeing, the 2027 New Jersey kitchen trends.

Good to know

Questions we get

Which green kitchen cabinets are stocked?
The stocked ones are listed by level above — they ship in about two weeks, some in days. Semi-custom colours take four to eight weeks; custom eight to fourteen. Your designer confirms the week before you order.
Can I see green kitchen cabinets installed before I decide?
Yes — the kitchens on this page are real New Jersey homes we designed and installed, and the showrooms have full displays in several of these finishes. Bring rough measurements and a designer draws your kitchen in the finish in 3D, free.
Can I do the island in a different colour?
In every line. Two-tone orders — a painted perimeter with a stained or coloured island — are the norm in our portfolio; see the two-tone page.
What countertop goes with it?
Bring the sample door to the slab. Every countertop we sell is in full slabs on the floor, grouped by price level, so you hold the door against the stone before you commit; see countertops.
Do painted finishes chip?
Factory conversion-varnish and UV finishes are hard; hand touch-up kits come with every line. Painted vs stained covers wear and care.
How do I get a price?
Bring rough wall lengths and photos to any showroom. A designer draws the kitchen in 3D and prices it line by line — cabinets, counters, tile, installation — the same visit, free, with no obligation.
