Where black works

On an island, black anchors a light kitchen — the fluted Pitch Black island in Cranford, the Midnight island in Scotch Plains, the black island with acrylic stools in the Room Therapy kitchen. On the base cabinets under a lighter upper it grounds the room: the black shaker and natural oak kitchen. A whole black kitchen needs a big window or a lot of fixtures and a stone with movement — it is beautiful and we build it, but we will show you the room in 3D at night as well as by day first.

Living with black
