Project 33: Honey oak and white flat-panel kitchen with a charcoal wine bar
A two-tone flat-panel kitchen: honey-toned oak on the base cabinets and the island, white on the uppers and the tall run, a white quartz island that seats four on saddle stools, oak floating shelves at the window — and a charcoal wine bar with a beverage fridge and dark slate tile in the next room.
About this kitchen
The split is simple: everything you touch at counter height is oak, everything above it is white. The oak base cabinets run under a white quartz top with slim brass pulls, the tall run around the built-in stainless refrigerator is white, and the range sits under a white hood with a quartz slab behind it.
The island is the same oak with a thick white quartz top, long enough for four leather saddle stools along the back. Two oak floating shelves flank the window over the sink, and a wide-plank dark floor runs under all of it.
Off the kitchen, a wine bar in charcoal flat-panel cabinets holds an undercounter beverage fridge under open shelves and a dark slate tile wall — a deliberate contrast to the light kitchen, beside a pair of wood-and-glass doors.
