A large two-tone Shiloh kitchen: Soft White painted perimeter, a Sable-stained maple island with seating for six, a matching stained hood and a stained bar wall with glass uppers and a wine refrigerator.
About this kitchen
This kitchen anchors an open floor plan, so it had to work from every side. The perimeter is painted Soft White to keep the long walls quiet; the island, the hood surround, the tall pantry run and the bar are all stained Sable on maple, so the dark pieces read as furniture.
Seating runs the full length of the island — six stools — under a pair of crystal ring pendants. A marble-look mosaic backsplash runs behind the cooktop and up the hood wall.
Across the room, the bar repeats the stain with glass uppers, a quartzite backsplash slab and an undercounter wine refrigerator.
