Project 37: Stained wood and white kitchen with an arched hood and a stone wall
A two-tone kitchen with stained wood shaker base cabinets and a long wood island under a white quartz top, white shaker uppers with small glass panes, a pro-style range set into an arched plaster hood over herringbone tile, brass lantern pendants and a stone accent wall at the sink.
About this kitchen
The kitchen is built around an arch: the range sits inside an arched plaster alcove lined in herringbone tile, with a brass pot filler on the wall, and white shaker uppers with small glass panes at the top run either side of it. The base cabinets and the island are a stained wood shaker, so the room is warm below and light above.
The island is long enough for five rattan-back stools under three brass lantern pendants, with a white quartz top, a brass faucet and the wood grain on every drawer front. The floor is a pale white oak that keeps the wood cabinets from feeling heavy.
The sink wall is a stone accent wall around the window, with wood base cabinets, a brass faucet and a stainless dishwasher below it. The refrigerator sits in the tall run at the end of the room.
