Floating bathroom vanities in New Jersey — wall-hung, 24 to 72 inches, on the floor in the showroom

A floating vanity hangs on the wall with the floor running under it — the modern bath's signature, and the easiest room to clean. Every wall-hung model we carry is below, from a 24-inch single to a 72-inch double, with the colours each comes in; the showrooms have several on the wall so you can see the height and the storage.

What a floating vanity needs

Solid blocking in the wall — 2×8 or plywood between the studs at the mounting height — and a drain and supply lines that come through the wall rather than the floor. If the wall is open during the remodel this is routine; if it is not, we open it. The usual mounting height puts the counter at 34 to 36 inches with 10 to 12 inches of clear floor underneath for the robot vacuum and the eye. Drawers rather than doors make the most of a shallow wall-hung box, and the top can be an integrated porcelain or a quartz with an undermount sink.

Floating or freestanding?

Floating for a modern bath, a small room that needs to feel bigger, and a floor you want to show off; freestanding for a traditional room, a vanity with legs, or a wall that cannot take blocking without more work than the look is worth. Our vanity buying guide walks through it; the full catalogue filters both.

Good to know

Questions we get

Are these in the showroom?
Many are on the floor in Union, Paramus and Rochelle Park, and every model has a colour chip on display. The model pages list the widths and colours.
Can I get a top and sink with it?
Yes — integrated porcelain tops on the vanity lines, or quartz with an undermount sink, chosen beside the vanity colour.
Do you install?
Yes, with the same crew that installs our kitchens; floating vanities get the wall blocking they need while the wall is open.
What if my wall is a different width?
We build a custom-width vanity from Fabuwood, Shiloh or Eclipse in any door and finish, with a top cut from our slabs.
How quickly can I get one?
Stocked vanities ship within days to two weeks; custom-size vanities from the cabinet lines take four to eight weeks like a kitchen.
Can the vanity match my kitchen?
Yes — several projects on this site have bath vanities built from the kitchen's cabinet line in the same door and finish.
