Dove and Timber kitchen with a quartzite waterfall island
A Livingston kitchen in Fabuwood Luna, Dove, with Timber-framed openings, black-framed glass uppers, a quartzite waterfall island and a Wolf–Sub-Zero package — plus a fluted oak media wall in the family room.
About this kitchen
This is a long kitchen with a window wall, so the plan keeps the uppers minimal: a bank of Dove doors over the sink, a Timber-framed hood recess, and glass-front uppers in black frames at both ends.
The island is wrapped in quartzite on three sides, and the same stone runs up the range wall as a full-height backsplash. The Timber stain appears as frames — around the hood and the glass cabinets — rather than as whole runs, which keeps the room light.
In the adjoining family room we built a fluted oak media wall with a linear fireplace and mirror inset, so the kitchen's oak carries through the open plan.
